At the end of the course, learners will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to operate the Overhead Crane safely and basic rigging and slinging procedures.

• At least 18 years of age
• Singaporeans, Permanent Residents or Holders of valid employment pass / work permit
• Preferably completed WSQ Perform Rigger and Signalman Tasks or equivalent
• Have basic knowledge of slinging and rigging methods
• Able to read and write simple English
• Participants should be in good physical and mental health to fully engage in the training, and should not have any conditions that might impede their ability to participate effectively.

This Overhead Crane Operator Training Course provides Operators with a thorough grounding in Workplace Safety and Health Legislation and correct operating procedures for operating overhead cranes safely. The course will be presented through multimedia presentation and interactive discussions, with key content reinforced using SS 497 and case studies.
