The “Operate Vertical Personnel Platform” Course is aimed at providing individuals with the knowledge and skills to operate vertical personnel platforms safely. At the end of the course, participants will be proficient in selection of appropriate vertical personnel platforms, conducting ^risk assessment and route checks, identification of hazards for vertical personnel platform operations, basic vertical personnel platform operations and reinstating vertical personnel platforms in a safe manner.
- Be above 18 years of age
- Have a basic knowledge of the relevant sector of work
- Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills (ES) level 3
- Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level
- Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 3
- Be medically fit to work at height
- 8 hours of classroom and practical training
- 1.25 hours of assessment including written and practical assessment.
- Prepare to carry out Vertical Personnel Platform operations
- Carry out Vertical Personnel Platform operations
- Conduct post-operation of Vertical Personnel Platform

The learner must achieve at least a 80% pass rate for the written assessment and 100% for the practical assessment in order to be issued with the Safety Pass awarded by UBTS ACADEMY PTE. LTD. and WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) by SkillsFuture Singapore.
Attendance Requirements: 100% for classroom and practical sessions.
